Season two: October 2006 - July 2007
Introduction
Building on the successes of Rational Rec’s first season, season two saw an expansion of scope, ambition and the level of artists we worked with. With funding from Arts Council England, the Hinrichsen and Holst Foundations and the PRS Foundation, Rational Rec was able to attract major artists to promote with emerging practitioners to provoke critical debate and conversation. The social atmosphere of Rational Rec was maintained with a programme that included food, prizes and more light-hearted games with the audience.
Season two also included a much bigger roster of international artists and rarely seen works by international composers and performers.
